Girls' Brigade.....

enrollment today!  It was a boiling hot day, we were all crammed inside a church with no fans and the service lasted 3 hours!!  Time flew past because of all the activities that were happening but it was hot!!  The girls were so enthusiastic which was wonderful!  No social distancing and I was one of the few wearing a face mask, but in all honesty its just so hot to wear a mask for any length of time!

Tonight I went to the annual Christmas concert by Lusaka Music Society - they did some of Handels Messiah which was amazing and then we sang Christmas carols in the stifling heat!!  Coming from Ireland I always associate Christmas with cold and dark while here its sunny and hot!!  Was a good but tiring day!
