Oswestry Santa Dash

Yesterday I went to watch the start of Oswestry Santa Dash, a 5k run in aid of the Lingen Davies cancer charity. Over 500 runners took part and it was great fun to see the town full of Santas in costume.

It was brilliant for photo opporunities and I took a lot as you can imagine.  It was very difficult to choose my favourite so I've added a few extras too.

The first ones took around 20 minutes to run the course and the three winners of the various classes were presented with A bottle of beer and a box of chocolates but the reward must have been personal achievement and helping a worthwhile charity.
