Misty Sun

The day started foggy, but the sun came out later. I walked to the local farm shop to buy apples, bread, and some organic sweets as a treat for today's Nikolaustag (Saint Nicholas Day). 

My blips are impressions from the walk, overlooking the Rhine,  and the sun shining in the orchards. I spotted a lot of birds there, but they never kept still long enough to be blipped.

In other news, the vet called about our Munni-cat. Her blood tests came back and the results are worrying on several fronts. She's suffering from feline hyperthyroidism (excessive production of thyroid hormones). Also, the tests show too high levels of both liver and pancreas enzymes - especially the latter are way off the scale. 

So, before we can get her heart diagnosed and her teeth sorted out, the thyroid and pancreas problems have to get treated. We will also need to get her special, fat-free food, and she isn't allowed cat treats anymore.
