Moorcroft? Not Moorcroft?

Another from the antiques, collectibles and upcycling haven. Sitting on a shelf surrounded by, frankly, jun k. Price tag, a bit over £20.

Since it doesn't look like any of the elaborate Moorcroft vases I have ever seen, I did some research. There are Moorcroft clocks, and they do look like this. But they retail for ten times as much. And they all have the name Moorcroft on the clock face.

This one doesn't and the movement looked pretty cheap to me. So, fake or fortune?
