Christmas around the World

Today in school we had a visitor from one of the local churches to take an assembly (for all the blue classes throughout the school) and then she came into each of the Year 2 classes to do an activity with the children she told them about some of the different traditions for Christmas in different countries then the children coloured in pictures to represent an object associated with Christmas in each country and then glued it onto a wreath shape to take home the children really enjoyed it and some of the wreaths were lovely.
