Lonesome oak

Monday seems to be becoming the day I get on top of the main household chores, once completed and the heavy grey clouds cleared off I nipped out for a jog along the Tarka trail. I didn’t see lots of wildlife but it was good to see several pairs of Bullfinches. This young oak tree still hanging on to its foliage caught the sunshine and stood out against the not so lonesome pines behind.
