‘the artistic struggle’

It’s so difficult being an award winning canine photojournalist when your staff become incapacitated! These last few days have stretched my creativity to its limit!

The Silverback actually spent half of today sitting upright fiddling with his guitar. He’s still on clear fluids but actually mentioned feeling hungry today for the first time. Things are looking very positive for tomorrow. I’m really pleased, because the last four days he’s been of only borderline assistance.

The Sparrow has been a trouper, mixing him half strength cordial and electrolyte supplements. She has also been using the down time to catch up with her online accounting side job. Needless to say she has been neglecting her main photography job a bit.

We’re back at Uncle Rick’s new house for the old fella’s convalescence. There were Bobcats and trucks out the front all day finishing off the preparatory phase of the garden redesign.
As a result, I was mainly confined to barracks, watching reruns of Becker and Mash; and the news of course!

Dinner was even late this afternoon!
Ah well, mustn’t grumble!
I could be sleeping in a ditch somewhere with no dinner at all!

Hoping to convince the Silverback he’ll be up to a walk in the park tomorrow.
Time will tell.
Stay safe everyone.
With any luck, omicron may prove a dud!

Here’s a close up of the river the Sparrow took yesterday, before we left Nannup. Hopefully we’ll get back there and ride the trails before we leave WA.
