Storm Barra on the way

My first walk this morning, round the block, before I started work, was in fairly benign weather, although the wind in this pampas grass was maybe a sign of things to come. By the time I went out at lunchtime it was getting a bit more blustery and wet, so it was just a quick trip to the post office. It doesn’t seem too bad here as yet, but it may still be on the way - we shall see.
