a surprise cake

as we don't like traditional Christmas cake i make a fruit cake.
this year i have flavoured it with cardamom and nutmeg and decorated the top with hazelnuts and pistachio kernels.

the cooker awaits parts.  
it may or may not be fixed for Christmas.
thank goodness for the small oven!
