Storm Arwen

We picked up a slow puncture on Sunday and I took it to Kwik Fit this morning. While they mended a puncture caused by a small nail, I went on a Turf walk around Ravelston. I came across this downed tree, in Storm Arwen, on a path up to Corstorphine Hill. What is amazing is that it snapped off and caused no damage to the wall on the left but trashed the wall and landed on the golf course. Naturally it has been fenced off so as you can’t walk along the track and everyone ignores the fences. We were lucky and this is the only tree I’ve seen down in Edinburgh. So far Storm Barra has been a damp squib.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a shoe.
