Water Harvesting

This evening’s walk in the park was cut short by a thunderstorm, so it was a quick swing by the top pond and straight home. These new wetlands benefit from stormwater harvesting but there were old wetlands. In 1910 a labryinthodont skeleton was unearthed and sent, as these things were, to London. It lived 180 million years ago. A contemporary representation lives near one of the children’s playgrounds (extra).

Thanks for keeping it wild Cailleach.
