Tangerine Tree

The gift that keeps on giving... we eat one each for dessert almost every day.

My Mum used to put an orange in the toe of our stocking, presumably from the trees my Dad planted in the Amazon jungle near our house there. When I went back with him many years later, the only way we knew where the house had been was by the orange trees; it was a very ecological house - palm thatch roof, mud and stick walls...

Gratefuls:
- rain, though it was unexpected and we had to rush to get the washing in, still grateful, though
- getting the house clean(ish)
- the smell of toast on the wood-burner, better go eat my tea...
