NZ Autumn 2024

By AndrewNZ

Gone fishing.

No rain which was forecast and we headed out into the Bay on 8 am but although the weather was playing ball the sea state was not. There was a rolling swell which was inconsistent in size and at times direction which over the hours made me feel queasy which is not usually the case.
We set two long lines, 25 hooks each, and were fishing with four rods in 15 metres of water we caught three on the rods but they were under size or at best just within but they were returned. On the long lines we had just two Snapper the biggest in the Blip which Richard is holding.
