Flower Friday

We woke to a pleasant though cold day, a bit of ice but nothing problematic.  A mid morning trek to the town centre to do a little bit of last minute Christmas shopping, and then I met M for lunch and a good catch up.  We even had a glass of wine!!!!

Later I caught up with Bob and we did our weekly shop.  It seemed to take us ages today for some reason, the shops were busy, and it was almost dark by the time we got home.  The days are very short just now but we will soon be at the shortest day and it is all uphill from there.

The new variant of the virus is very worrying, the Scottish Government is recommending cancellation of Christmas parties now, although not yet mandatory...... I wonder if Christmas will be cancelled for this year also?
