The Pleiades star cluster...

...from our garden.

Something I've wanted to try for a long time, astrophotography. A new toy was delivered yesterday and I just had to try it out this evening as the sky was clear.

The Pleiades or Seven Sisters is probably the easiest subject to start with and I'm pleased with this first go especially as some of the reflective nebula are clearly visible. Hopefully there will be some slightly warmer clear nights to practice with.
