Sgwarnog: In the Field

Landmarks

It was a sunny day, and a bit milder and calmer, so I extended my lunchtime walk over to Sconce and back.

Wrens were chipping away from deep in the bracken, and a dozen Red Grouse took flight as I was nearing the cabins.

Returning along Moorside, I liked the way these landmarks lined up into the distance. First the chimneys of Tong Park mills, in the middle ground part of the Esholt Sewage Works complex and then the spire of St Margarets, Horsforth on the skyline.
