Heron At Lake Eola

After getting the Wifi sorted I decided to head over to Eola for a few pictures.

However just before I left there was an incident. The small lake I Blipped on Sunday comes to about 8 metres from our pool area. The guy next door was out feeding an alligator (quite small) at the edge of the lake.

He explained that due to the recession he was moving away and this would be the last time he would feed it. The reason he has been feeding it is that it struggles due to the fact that it has lost most of its tail, bitten off by a larger alligator!

He was hoping we would take over feeeding duties for the rest of our stay.

I don't mind that too much, it seems fairly harmless. But the thing that went unsaid was - where is that big alligator and how often does it come visiting?

Off out now to get some shopping, including some food for our pet alligator, and then off for a meal. Catch up later although it will probably be the early hours of the morning back home.
