Wakehurst: Friendly Pheasant

Im and I drove out to Wakehurst (Kew's site in Sussex) for a day out; we met Im's parents there, and had a decent explore of the gardens. There is currently a light/illuminations trail on at the moment, which'd no doubt be appealing at night, but it was the various v. old trees and the modern gardens (inc. birches and dogwood) that really stood out for me.
We had a jolly time, and it only started to drizzle as we were already on our way out; I was pleased with some of my people pics., but the friendly pheasants were definitely the photographic highlight.
