Nose Work Day

We had a slow morning before I put the dogs in the car and we went out for a walk and some Nose Work training. 

Gollum and Xmas are going to a Swedish Nose Work competition after Christmas and Sweden have different odors than Denmark, so Xmas learned a new odor a couple of days ago and today I introduced Gollum to his new one. 

In Denmark Xmas is searching for lavender oil and Gollum is seaching for lavender and eucalyptus. In Sweden Xmas must search for eucalyptus and Gollum must search for eucalyptus and laurel. 

Xmas did excellent with his new eucalyptus today and Gollum seemed to understand that he must indicate for laurel too now. 

Tango is searching for lavender. He has not competed yet, but he did some excellent work today. You can see him with his nose on the hide in today's blip.
