Pencaitland Railway Walk

Another day of walking, this time with our friends J & D. We met in Ormiston, East Lothian then drove one of the cars over to East Saltoun to walk back via the old railway line. We stopped half way at Rosearista’s for hot chocolate and toasties. It was a mild day although quite muddy in parts. We did about 9 miles today - it’s a lovely quiet route.

We’d been home about 5 minutes when there was a commotion in the courtyard. Teenagers had made off with two bikes stolen from the garage at 4pm in the afternoon.
