Harbour

It’s been a busy period, even at weekends. But we managed to squeeze in a walk to Fisherrow harbour and along the beach this morning. After so much windy weather recently, I was struck by how still and glass-like the water was. I know the wonderfully-named Firth of Forth is an estuary and not the open sea, but it’s still rare to see so little movement. Mounds of leaves stretch all along the beach, washed up after the recent storms.
