Blah, blah, blah!
You'd think that after 4,000 or more years of this tired, bellicose rhetoric being proclaimed by successive warmongering fanatics, people would realise God is never on their side. I seem to recall a certain Biblical passage I learned in Sunday school which likely explains why:

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
(Matthew 5:9) 

Even the eight year olds who performed today's Nativity understand this.

Ah well, in the spirit of goodwill to all men, I will dedicate the following canticle to all deluded warmongers.
