Fairy?

I found this figurine placed in a recess in a sandstone cliff at West Wemyss, Fife.  I suspect it was deliberately placed there by children (adults?) who believe in fairies, as there were other related items nearby.

I think they should have been taken home again (like litter) after their fantasy play session. 

However, had they done that, I would not have had this blip for today.
