Wooden Welding

The replica of the Golden Hind in Brixham harbour was undergoing some repairs today. The base of the boat is an old trawler, and this was in urgent need of some welding. The birdwatcher was out on the water on a birding trip while I walked to Brixham.
Bird of the day. The birdwatcher - Pomeranian Skua, plus dolphins, and seals.
The birdwatcher’s widower- robins, all along the path and coming through the letter box every day.
