Freedom And Tea-ranny

On This Day In History
1773: The Boston Tea Party

Quote Of The Day
"Our contest is not only whether we ourselves shall be free, but whether there shall be left to makind an asylum on Earth for civil and religious liberty."
(Samuel Adams)

"And so the good people of America threw out the evil, snearing English oppressors, but the cheerful, fun-loving Irish and Scots, who had also suffered centuries of brutalitea from the English dogs, were allowed to stay and pursue carefree lives of dancing, singing and good-natured, drunken brawling. And so America became a beacon of civil and religious liberty, while all those opposed to her values were duly crushed.

"So remember what your Uncle Mel tells you, children; the English may take our lives, but they will never take our freeeee-doooooooo!!!"

The English March

I would like to point out that, even though I am English, I have never oppressed anyone, although I have tried to on several occasions.
