Lyon's

I was off to the COVID test centre at Leith Library (got pinged rather than sick) but was a few minutes early so I wandered down Trafalgar Street and saw this late 19th century building. Back home now and have looked it up; seems it was Robert Lyon's bakery. The firm was later known as Scott-Lyons and used to have lots of shops and a fleet of delivery vans, but it no longer exists.

Fingers crossed for a negative test result, tomorrow hopefully. Feeling a bit fed up but hopeful. Talking of bakeries, I think I'll have another mince pie!
