Cleaning

Before the rotor can be used again it has to be cleaned thoroughly.
There are two ways: cleaning by blasting ice on it.

But: then a diesel engine had to be installed near a running unit and that is "not done".

Second: cleaning by hand and that's what you see here..
24 hrs a day.
The blades of the powerturbine (three rows) have been taken off. They have a so-called "Christmastree foot".. which slide between the feet on the rotor itself.
