Christmas decor

Came home from Keep Fit this morning and was just making myself some coffee when two guys arrived from the District Council to fit handrails at the back and front doors.

About a year ago Bob had decided that I needed them, as I was waiting for a hip replacement and was in a bit of pain.  He was going to get our local blacksmith to make them, but a friend in Dunfermline told him to apply to the District Council and they would fit them.  We did apply and then forgot about it as we were told it would take a long long time.  And today to our surprise it happened.  The guys fitted them in about fifteen minutes.  Should make a difference.

In the afternoon we paid a visit to Silverburn for the purchase of one more gift, the last one hopefully.  The Christmas displays are lovely.
