Right on Time

Today's activity was Going Out To Lunch With K.  But the first place we tried was way too crowded, with no fresh air coming in and lots of unmasked people. Comfort levels are funny these days, and we agreed to try somewhere else. But first, a little shopping, since the second hand stores were just across the street. Everyone there wore masks and seemed to be aware of acting carefully, so we browsed a bit and she found a couple of gorgeous crushed velvet garments, which may or may not be called dusters. Eventually we found a place to have a lackluster sandwich and a good chat. It was much airier and it felt okay to be there. Now that it's getting cold and wet, it's a lot harder to plan these little outings that do so much to sustain us.
