Life after Burradoo, NSW

Fair dinkum, this really happened

In my last blip I told you the sorry story of our brand new car being damaged even before we took delivery of it. Well, after negotiating a small discount on the price of the car and a written assurance that the seven year warranty would apply to any issues arising out of the damages or the repair of the damages, we decided to go ahead with the purchase. The plan was that we would inspect the repaired vehicle tomorrow morning and, provided all was well, we would take possession of it next Wednesday.

This afternoon I had a call today about 3pm from the dealer. The repairs had been completed and the car had been returned to the yard. About 10 minutes before he called me one of their mechanics backed the car into another vehicle and damaged it again. This time the bumper bar, the side panel, the light and the boot door were all damaged.

Tomorrow the contract will be torn up!!
