A Foggy Day

I was in very much involved in the measurement of fogs, for safety reasons at UK airports, from the early 1970's, until I had to take early retirement in 1993, so I am therefore very used to looking at scenes like this and they bring back many memories, both fond and otherwise.  At that time there were very few people in the world working in this area and this is one of the reasons that I am a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society.
