BCSplash - Spring Snow

It's BCSplash time again!

Aside from being a very beautiful landscape photograph, we thought this image served as a timely reminder of how important Blipfoto is in bringing people together from around the world.

For those of us who celebrate Christmas, it is a time for thinking about our family and friends and we know that many people use Blipfoto as a way of staying in touch and sharing their daily lives with their loved ones across the globe.

As the U.K. is in the depths of wet and stormy winter, with some places having only a few hours of daylight at present, over on the other side of the planet in New Zealand it's very early summer and the weather in this blip looks absolutely stunning.

The late snow on the mountains provides a dramatic backdrop to this image created by blipper Cabbagetree who has been a member of the community for more than twelve years. Cabbagetree has a fantastic journal and we recommend you go along and say hello, especially if you love macro photography.
