Word Blindness
This is the Xmas Puzzle from the Guardian (I'm pretty sure none of you are going to think "Oh, he ruined it for me"). I've managed to get to one last clue and I can't think of a word that would fit.
The clue is "According to Spenser, write expansively of just half the generous gifts (8)". This sent me down a rabbit hole of neologisms coined by Edmund Spenser and all I found was rabbit poop.
He didn't coin "rabbit poop".
You know this is going to prey on my mind for at least the rest of the day.
And my best wishes go out to Tedwin. Gute Besserung and I hope you get home soon.
