Gregynog Hall

Today we visited Gregynog Hall, a mock Elizabethan concrete faced building built in about 1840 by Charles Hanbury-Tracy. We were given a mini tour of the downstairs by the director of the trust that owns the building and the 750 acres that goes with it which we were most grateful for. Another grey misty day but we did manage to walk around the nearby oak wood for an hour or so.
