December rose

I am working successfully through yesterday’s to do list, and because I was busy, N started doing a few jobs too. I phoned my cousin in Norfolk and we had a good time catching up with family news.
It is still dry and mild in the south-east so I was tempted out into the garden and did a bit of tidying up. It was so good to see this lovely red rose, a little tired, but nevertheless valiantly blooming. There are two more buds on the bush, I wonder whether they will come to anything.
