Giddy Piggies

OK, a bit of a lazy / emergency blip today….

We went with our granddaughters (and their mum & dad) to Sundown Adventureland for a visit to Santa (postponed from last year, a ‘lockdown’ casualty).
We left home just after 7:30 a.m. arriving just before 9, having stopped to collect a Starbucks takeout from Markham Moor on the way.

It was foggy and damp, and it didn’t improve much all day. It was also very cold! Still, the girls had a great time and this is their favourite ride…the little pigs go round and around and ‘bounce’ up and down. They love it….I have to admit it is quite fun…but not for me today as everything was soaked..but the girls were well prepared with waterproof trousers.

The visit to Santa included a ‘sleigh ride’ through an animated fairy tale world…which was actually quite good.

The Santa was really good and interacted with the girls very well…they loved it.

Dark by the time we got home….and this is pretty much all I have snapped today, too tired and cold to go out and do a night shot!
