Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Misty

A misty day provided an opportunity for an atmospheric walk down to the Dam and through the woods.

On the Dam: 22 Black-headed Gull, 21 Mallard, 3 Goosander, 3 Moorhen, 2 Gadwall & 1 Little Grebe. A Cormorant flew over but must have decided the Christmas crowds were a bit too much.

At the top of the woods, the view into the pastures and the trees on the field boundaries provided a suitable emblem for the day.

A lot of the local football was called off, or abandoned, because of the fog, but I’d already decided to keep myself to myself while I decide whether to journey to Wales next week.
