Big Moon Rising

Firstly, huge thanks for everything for my 'Diving Kingfisher', now enjoying his last few hours of being in no.1 position before he drops off the top of the popular page at midnight. He is now my 4th most popular blip in all of the 7 years and more that I have been blipping!

Today's been too busy to indulge in much photography. I allowed myself to stop by the roadside on my way to visit Mum and was taken by surprise by the huge moon that had just risen beside the minster, just as the sun was nearing the opposite horizon. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see Mum up and socialising with some other residents. She's been really quite poorly the past few days, so it was good to see her more herself.

In the news: London has declared a major incident because of the steep rise in Omicron cases. My youngest son lives and works in London - I'm relieved that he has managed to get his booster today. Mine tomorrow.

Sorry I'm not able to respond to your wonderful comments and visit journals much at the moment - life is a bit full on at the moment on several levels!
