New (temporary) home arrives

The long delayed arrival of our static caravan has finally happened. This will be our home while the main byre conversion happens.

There was a great deal of shouting as the lorry worked its way up the lane. Fortunately the shouting was meaningless to us being in very broad Glaswegian.

Massive backing and to-ing was needed to get the lodge into place. The gate posts were under threat at one point when the chainsaw appeared.
However full marks to Malcolm, our local friendly farmer who did the maneuvering with his tractor. The extra shows the (nearly) final position.
