.....was meant by 'painting a pallet'!  Our Close had a theme of Christmas songs this year and, whilst it is definitely not my sort of thing, R wanted to participate.  I suggested Silent Night thinking then we wouldn't have to do anything but....he found a pallet and....well, eventually this is what has been produced.  There's Carol Singing, drinks and nibbles taking place tomorrow night.  I'll be keeping well out of the way....it'll be far too crowded for me as it was last year.  Oh, and as a 'ps' he now thinks that the 'Barn' looks like a dog kennel!!!
