This is Ablas Uddin, in charge this evening behind the bar at my favourite Indian restaurant. The Shagorika* was the first Indian to open in Market Harborough, back in 1980, when it was quite a novelty in a small market town. Now there are five, shared between 20,000 of us.

*Shagorika is Bengali for seashore, apparently.
