Festive

Today was Wetland Bird Survey. Given the weather we've had for the last few days, we were grateful that the temperature was above freezing, and that the visibility was reasonable and also that sunrise was as late as 8:20. We didn't see a great deal. The highlight was probably a flock of over 100 Pink-footed Geese flying over - sadly they don't count for the survey as they were not using the reservoir. There were the usual number of Robins. they are always quite confiding, but this one was particularly so.
