from my collection - of about a hundred - or so, to share - with you because i - was feeling a bit royal - not really - but it sounds good, right?

in truth, this does - come from my collection - and i picked it up - at an antique fair - some number of years ago - because of the ruby - stones being my birthstones - plus i’d never seen - a thimble with such - fancy scroll work on it - which led to me - to believe this was - most likely more for - display or treasure keeping - than for actual use - in mending and such - chances are it dates - around the 1920’s or so - it’s still in very good condition - made a nice addition - to my collection overall - and continues to contribute - to making it…
