Finally

After being apart for 254 days, our oldest arrived back home yesterday. I went from utter excitement to tears when I saw him. We are so thankful to be together again. He has been away from home now for a year and a half. He felt so relieved to walk in the door and took an afternoon nap on the sofa. Today we finally put the ornaments on the tree and had our special family prayer time tradition. It is late to be doing it but wouldn’t have been the same to do it without oldest. It is one of hubby’s favorite things for us to do, so it was fitting that we did it on his birthday.
