58 years

Another solstice when the sun “sits” at its farthest point .   The shortest day .   And our 58th anniversary.   A nice long walk up a hill , work on my stuff, and a martini and some of the Christmas herring which is a fabulous combination!    And now the love of my life and I are going to walk in the dark to pick up our take out dinner from our wonderful neighborhood restaurant.   We have been so darn fortunate!!
Edit:   I loved our walk in the dark …I had no idea there were so many great light displays in the neighborhood.  My fave in the extra .  Will watch the movie as every year…it is so hilarious.
