Winter Solstice

Thankfully the electrician in the family made sure we had some light today, and for the next while. There is a price to pay though, we have no heat. It’s not too cold though and we have a rocket of a stove to heat the place.
A few firsts today - first time in the cinema in Salthill, 2pm showing of West Side Story. We certainly enjoyed it, and I’m sure the other 3 people in the cinema did too. Comfy leather recliners to boot!
Another first, night time grocery shopping. Surprisingly busy but not stressful, surprisingly.
