A New Dawn

With the Winter solstice now behind us, today began with a spectacular sunrise. I took a quick shot of this ornamental owl which sits on the garage roof of the house of one of our neighbours. Rain or shine it sits and surveys the wide view out across the valley. I have to say it's not a great photograph, but  I thought it might just about scrape through as an entry for the Wide Wednesday Challenge.
