Christmas Mugs

Among lots of other lovely pressies Hannah and Maggie gave me these mugs today. The designs were made by the girls at school and used for cards, wrapping paper and the mugs. I will treasure them.

Geordie and I had a good walk in the woods this morning, then drove around the village to drop off a few pressies with friends. We got back home in time to get our glad rags on in time for Suzy and the girls coming. We exchanged presents today because I’m going up North to see my grandchildren for Christmas either tomorrow or Friday. The four of us played Operation, which was difficult, then Guess Who which was much more fun.

After the girls left I drove up to Cupar to see Grant. He’s fitted a kitchen in his house now and the new windows have arrived. He plans to work non-stop over his holidays, insulating the exterior walls, building a chimney breast and fireplace, and a doing a whole list of jobs.
Driving home wasn’t much fun because it had been raining all evening and there were lots of big puddles on the road, and fog in some of the high areas. Anyway, we’re home again and tired, after a very fine day.
