The afternoon was unexpectedly bright, so we walked up to the allotment where, disappointingly, there was only a modest crop of parsnips and lettuce. Plenty for xmas day though.
The wreath is seen through opaque glass. They seem to have origins in the Yule holiday, symbolising nature and the promise of spring. This wreath has the much more recent origin of a craft gathering where, I am told, much coffee and cake were consumed.
