Quod oculus meus videt

Bird's Nest

We regularly walk around the park at lunchtimes, as a break from being in front of a computer most of the day.  There is a path that goes around the edge of the park and is just on a mile in circumference, so it is good for counting the distance.

So, as you can imagine, we notice things, particularly if they are different.  Well it was a surprise to see a new bird's nest in this small tree, that is next to the path.  Its size suggests a big bird, perhaps a pigeon, but it definitely wasn't there earlier this week.  Perhaps it has got its timing wrong, after all it has been a funny autumn temperature wise.

I visited the office in the afternoon and printed off a final couple of licences before hand delivering them in the way home.  It will help one of our taxi drivers, who had his car written off recently, to get some trade in over the festive period.
